A Pharmaceutical Company introducing a new product estimated it required approximately 200 new Sales Reps. EPIC Software selected a representative sample of the national sales organization, completed a quick Time & Motion study of the Sales Force to track their day-to-day activities and then reviewed the Employee Performance Appraisal and Management system used for the Sales Reps.

EPIC Software implemented a customized web-enabled Employee Performance Integration Console (EPIC) resulting in Sales Managers and Reps recovering the equivalent of $11. M of “productive time” annually, resulted in additional sales of $40. M. When factoring in salaries, benefits, recruiting new Sales Reps, Time to Competence, etc., EPIC Software's results were equivalent to acquiring 87 new Sales Reps without any additional hiring costs and allowed this Pharmaceutical company to kick-start their new product launch and sales campaign with existing resources.
